A refurbished grade denotes the quality of a refurbished device based on its cosmetic state, previous use and packaging. There are three main refurbished cosmetic conditions:

A refurbished grade A device is in near-mint condition. It looks as if it's never been used. At most, it may show very minimal amounts of scuffing on the case or lid.

A refurbished grade B device shows some signs of gentle use. It may feature some light scratches or scuffs. Because of these cosmetic imperfections, a grade B product is more affordable than a grade A device.

A refurbished grade C device shows heavy signs of use. It will feature significant signs of wear and tear. Because of these cosmetic issues, a grade C product is much cheaper than grade A or grade B devices.

Keep in mind that, whatever cosmetic grade it was given, a refurbished device has passed every functional test and will work as well as a new device. Refurbished grades regard aesthetics only. On RefurbMe, we simplify the grading system by marking refurbished devices' condition as Excellent, Good or Fair.
