An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) code is a unique identifier for your iPhone. Its purpose is to keep track of a device. One reason why they are useful is to prevent theft. A device that was signalled as stolen can be blacklisted by its carrier and kept from connecting to their network. The IMEI is a very sensitive piece of information that sellers do not give out before the product is purchased.
RefurbMe cannot provide IMEI for our listed products. However, we feel it is important to reiterate that refurbished iPhones are not stolen phones. They are devices that have been pre-owned or pre-used, then refurbished by professionals.
